Former Cal Football Player Accused Of Pimping In San Jose
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A 23-year-old Fresno man was arrested after law enforcement officials discovered he had been operating as a pimp in San Jose and other cities throughout California, police said.
The United States Marshal Service arrested Tracy Slocum in Fresno on Friday afternoon after a month-long, multi-jurisdictional investigation into allegations of domestic violence, prostitution and sexual assault over at least the last several months, according to San Jose police.
Slocum is a former member of the Cal football team. The team website lists him as a running back and special teams player who appeared in seven games in 2007.
Investigators in San Jose collaborated with the law enforcement agencies in the various jurisdictions where the alleged crimes took place.
Slocum was booked into Santa Clara County Jail where he remains without bail.
Investigators suspect there may be additional victims who have not come forward or been identified.
