Former Software Engineer Sues Google For Sexual Harassment
MOUNTAIN VIEW (KPIX) -- Google has been slapped with a sexual harassment lawsuit.
Former software engineer Loretta Lee said the tech giant's so-called "bro culture" failed to protect her from "severe and pervasive abuse."
Lee says she received sexual text messages, was groped and slapped.
She also claims a male co-worker hid under her desk and propositioned her for sex.
Lee says she was fired for poor performance in 2016, after 8 years with Google.
So far, Google has not commented.
