'Flash' Series Casts A Familiar Face

(KBCW) - The ever growing cast of the new 'Arrow' spinoff series "The Flash" has added a familiar face. John Wesley Shipp, the 1990's live action "Flash" has joined the cast of the new series in a recurring role.

Shipp will join the new "Barry Allen" played by Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh (Ed, Royal Pains) as Harrison Wells S.T.A.R. Labs CEO, Rick Cosnett (The Vampire Diaries) as Eddie Thawne, Jesse L. Martin (Law & Order) as Detective West, Danielle Panabaker (Necessary Roughness) as Caitlin Snow, Candice Patton as Iris West and Chad Rook (Cult, Supernatural) as Clyde.

"Arrow" co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg with Geoff Johns will pen the first episode. David Nutter will direct the pilot episode.
