First Flower Grown In Space Shared On Twitter
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The first flower ever grown in space has made its debut on the internet thanks to Twitter.
Astronaut Scott Kelly shared the picture of the flower grown aboard the International Space Station during his record year in orbit.
"First ever flower grown in space makes its debut! #SpaceFlower #zinnia #YearInSpace," Kelly tweeted.
The Zinnia is a member of the daisy family.
