Fire At Concord Elementary School Sparks Arson Investigation
CONCORD (CBS SF) -- A fire at a Concord elementary school Sunday is being investigated as a possible arson, according to police.
At about 5 a.m., officers received a call about a suspicious person yelling in the parking lot of Highlands Elementary School on Pennsylvania Boulevard as well as a report of a fire alarm going off.
Officers arrived on campus and discovered that someone had broken into a classroom and set a fire but they were unable to find a suspect, police said.
No structural damage was reported, according to police.
