Boxer Campaigns In Silicon Valley
SAN JOSE (KCBS) - Senator Barbara Boxer held a town hall meeting in Silicon Valley on Tuesday, talking about some of the issues she feels are most important to those in the high tech industry.
She told employees at Cisco Systems that she has their backs, especially on issues such as repatriation, pension reforms and jobs.
KCBS' Mike Colgan Reports:
"My opponent has never served in office, but she opposed every single job creation bill that we've had," Boxer said about her opponent Carly Fiorina. "And she has never said she will buck her party in this entire election. But the people will have to be the judge."
Meanwhile, the Fiorina campaign put out a new ad questioning the appearance at Cisco with CEO John Chambers.
The ad criticized Chambers over layoffs and transferring jobs to India.
