Final Events Announced For Monday's Farewell Game At Candlestick Park, 49ers Vs. Falcons
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- From the all-stadium card stunt planned for the first quarter break, to the final "Top Ten 49ers Moments at Candlestick Park," the post-game ceremony, and even the free tacos coupon handed out as fans leave, everything at Monday's final regular season game will celebrate the iconic 1960 structure and all the history that happened within it.
The nationally televised game begins at 5:40 p.m. Monday, as the Atlanta Falcons visit the San Francisco 49ers. KPIX 5 will broadcast the game locally, including pre-game coverage during the 5 p.m. newscast, post-game The 5th Quarter coverage, and the special report, "Bye, Bye Baby: A Farewell to Candlestick."
The game is sold out, but those who already have a ticket will come home with an armful of freebies including a "final regular season game pennant," a glow stick to be used during the post-game ceremony. fan cheer cards, and if they wait in line, former 49er Dwight Clark is autographing photos of "the catch" at 3:45 p.m. in the Levi's booth. Finally, as fans leave, they'll be thanked with bags of Blue Diamond almonds and coupons for two free tacos from Jack in the Box.

DeBartolo will serve as the honorary game captain, and halftime entertainment features the "Gold Rush's" final performance at Candlestick, with tributes to other key individuals.
