Feds Seize Drugs, Cash In Series Of Bay Area Raids
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - Federal agents and officers from at least four local police departments raided multiple Bay Area residences in a major drug bust early Wednesday morning, sources told KCBS.
Two sources with knowledge of the operation called "Honduran Highway" said the agents made numerous arrests and seized methamphetamine, crack cocaine, ammunition and thousands of dollars in cash.
The KCBS sources said police from San Francisco, South San Francisco, San Mateo and Hayward assisted in the raids.
The U.S. Attorney's Office did not immediately comment on the operation.
