FBI: Father May Be Heading To Bay Area With Missing Toddler
SACRAMENTO (CBS) -- The FBI has issued an Amber Alert for a man who abducted his 2-year-old daughter Sunday and may be headed to the Bay Area, the agency said.
The suspect is Mourad "Moni" Samaan, 49, an Egyptian-born U.S. citizen standing 5-foot-6, weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes who speaks fluent Spanish.
Madeline is 2 feet 8 inches tall, 28 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
The two were last known to be traveling in a green Toyota 4Runner with the California license plate 3XRM111.
The FBI says the child's life may be in danger and that anyone with information who sees the two or has information for authorities to call 916-481-9110.
