Fatal Collision On Hwy 29 In Napa County Blocks Lanes More Than 3 Hours
NAPA (CBS SF) -- Two northbound lanes of state Highway 29 in Napa County reopened following a fatal collision that occurred early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded to a report of a collision on northbound Highway 29 near Darms Lane north of Napa around 5:20 a.m., CHP officials said.
The Napa County coroner's office was called to the scene, CHP Officer Eric Anderson said.
A Sig-alert was issued at 6:04 a.m. and the lanes reopened around 9:20 a.m., Anderson said.
