Fatal Accident On WB I-80 In Richmond
RICHMOND (CBS SF) -- All lanes of westbound Interstate Highway 80 in Richmond have reopened following a fatal crash that blocked traffic Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 12:30 a.m. on westbound I-80 near Solano Avenue. A Sigalert was issued at about 12:55 a.m., according to the CHP.
The roadway was cleared by about 2:20 a.m., the CHP said.
The identity of the deceased has not been released and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
