Famous Psychic, Sylvia Browne Dead At 77
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - Well known psychic, Sylvia Browne died Wednesday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose. She was 77.
Browne was surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband Micahel Ulery, her two sons and three grandchildren. Browne's son, Chris confirms her passing.
Browne's Facebook page read "Sylvia graduated today. She was surrounded by family and friends. What a legacy. She shared so much. We will carry on her knowledge with hypnosis and Journey of the Soul and her many books. What a great party they must be having on the Other Side. Bless everyone."
The famous psychic has been in the spotlight for her regular visits to radio stations across the country to television shows like Larry King Live and The Montel Williams Show.
Browne received criticsm over mistakenly announcing Amanda Berry's death after she went missing in 2003. Berry was found alive in May 2013.
Private memorial service to be scheduled.
