Family Of Pilot Killed In Travis Air Force Base Crash Suing Feds For $20M
TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE (CBS SF) -- The relatives of a stunt pilot who died in a crash at Travis Air Force Base have filed a wrongful death suit against the federal government.
The family claims emergency crews didn't respond fast enough after 77-year old Eddie Andreini's plane crashed during an air show in May.
An autopsy report showed Andreini died in the flames while trapped in the aircraft.
The family is seeking $20 million in damages.
