Family Dog Stolen During Morgan Hill Burglary
MORGAN HILL (AP) -- A Morgan Hill family victimized by burglars a few days before Christmas is hoping to at least get their dog back.
Authorities said when a burglar, or burglars, broke into the Morgan Hill home of the Lancer family on Wednesday they made off with all the presents under the tree, as well as the family's dog.
Santa Clara County sheriff's Sgt. Jose Cardoza said when the family returned to home around 5 p.m. Wednesday they found about $600 worth of gifts had been stolen, as well as the family pet.
Cardoza said no suspects have been identified, but investigators were able to gather fingerprints from the home.
The fingerprints will be processed at a lab during the week in the hopes of finding a suspect, or suspects.
