Fairfield Man Arrested In Vacaville Home Invasion Robbery, Shooting
VACAVILLE (CBS SF) -- The Solano County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Fairfield man in connection with a home invasion robbery and shooting in December.
Four armed, masked suspects forced their way into a residence in the 5100 block of Poplar Road in the unincorporated area of Vacaville on Dec. 18, sheriff's deputy Daryl Snedeker said.
The suspects demanded items from the five occupants, shot one resident and beat two others, Snedeker said.
The suspects, two black and two white men, were seen leaving the residence in a 1990s or early 2000s silver Toyota Camry, Snedeker said.
Detectives later found 110 pounds of processed marijuana with a street value of $250,000 and 107 marijuana plants valued at $321,000 in the victims' home, Snedeker said.
Sheriff's detectives arrested 26-year-old Kyle Matthew Amos of Fairfield on Friday at the Fairfield parole office based on evidence found at the residence that was robbed, according to Snedeker.
Amos was booked under no bail in the Solano County Jail for attempted murder, robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and a parole hold, Snedeker said.
Amos is scheduled to be arraigned in Solano County Superior Court Wednesday afternoon.
