1 Dead, 1 Critically Hurt In Fairfield Gas Station Shooting
FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) – An arrest has been made after a fatal shooting at a gas station in Fairfield late Sunday night.
According to authorities, the shooting was reported around 11:45 p.m. at an Arco station near North Texas Street and Alaska Avenue. Video taken at the scene showed multiple bullet casings.
"It just sounded like a whole lot of fireworks. It happened so quick," said Emmanuel, who did not want to give his last name.
Fairfield police said that one person died at the scene. Another person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and remained in critical condition as of early Monday morning.

The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Souljah Corbin of Fairfield, has been booked on charges of murder and attempted murder.
The person killed in the shooting has been identified as a 30-year-old man from Fairfield. Police are withholding his identity pending notification of his family.
It is unclear what led up to the gunfire. The incident remains under investigation.
