El Cerrito Police Seek 2 Suspects For Super 8 Motel Robbery
EL CERRITO (CBS SF) -- Two men remain at large after robbing a motel clerk Thursday evening, El Cerrito police said.
The robbery was reported around 6:30 p.m. at the Super 8 Motel, located at 6009 Potrero Ave., police said.
Two men drove up to the motel in a black, four-door Mercedes-Benz.
One of the men, dressed in a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, baseball hat and white T-shirt approached the clerk, according to police.
The suspect brandished a semi-automatic gun at the clerk while the other suspect waited at the door. Both suspects stole cash from the clerk, police said.
No one was injured in the robbery.
The suspects are described at men in their 20s, and about 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall.
