East Coast Storm Causes Flight Cancellations At SFO
SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CBS SF) - A nor'easter is causing a number of flight cancellations between the East Coast and San Francisco International Airport Wednesday, an airport spokeswoman said.
A total of 18 flights operating to and from SFO have been canceled due to the storm, spokeswoman Nancie Parker said.
All the cancellations are through New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport, Parker said.
Additional flights to the East Coast were scheduled to depart from SFO, but are still on time, Parker said. That could change depending on the severity of the storm, she said.

The nor'easter is affecting flight patters on the Atlantic coast from Washington, D.C., north to Connecticut, Parker said. The storm should lighten up by Thursday morning, she said.
No flights leaving San Jose or Oakland have been affected by the storm.
