Dylan, Dre, Streisand & Jagger Added As Grammy Performers On CBS 5
LOS ANGELES (CBS / AP) -- The Grammy Awards will feature star-studded performances by music icons Bob Dylan, Dr. Dre, Barbra Streisand and Mick Jagger.
Dylan, a 10-time Grammy and lifetime achievement winner, will join nominee Mumford & Sons and The Avett Brothers for a salute to acoustic music, while Dr. Dre will make his debut on the Grammy stage when he joins protege Eminem.
It will be Dr. Dre's first performance on live television in a decade. Eminem, who leads all nominees with 10, also will be joined by Maroon 5's Adam Levine.
The Grammys also announced Thursday that Zac Brown, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas will present awards.
Earlier this week it was announced that another legend, Streisand, would be appearing at Sunday's Grammy awards.
Streisand is a nominee for best traditional pop vocal album for "Love Is The Answer," and she'll be performing on the live telecast. She'll be introduced by another music legend, her co-star in "A Star Is Born," Kris Kristofferson.
Last week, it was announced that Jagger would be performing. It marks the first time Jagger has appeared on the Grammy stage.
Other performers include Cee Lo Green, Gwyneth Paltrow, Arcade Fire and Justin Bieber.
The awards are set to air live on CBS 5 KPIX-TV at 8 p.m. Sunday from Los Angeles.
