Dueling Protests Face Off On Israel-Palestine Conflict Outside Jewish Temple In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) -- Dueling groups of protesters sounded off on the Israel-Palestine conflict Sunday outside a temple in San Francisco, with both sides blaming each other.
Passionate supporters on both sides of the Middle East conflict chanted slogans outside the Jewish temple Congregation Emanuel.
Palestinian supporters called Israeli troops terrorists for killing dozens of women and children in recent days, while supporters of Israel denounced attacks by Hamas.
"Solidarity with the U.S. and Israel against the worst type of terrorism, Hamas," Michael Harris, of San Francisco Voice with Israel said.
Supporters of Palestine called for the U.S. to end its support of Israel.
"It's about humanity if anything, to save people of Palestine. We're humans, children of god," Suzanne Abushi, a Palestinian-American said.
