Ducks Slip Past Sharks In Preseason Game
SAN JOSE (AP) -- Corey Perry had a hat trick and Ryan Getzlaf added four assists to lift the Anaheim Ducks past the San Jose Sharks 5-4 on Friday night.
The Ducks have taken two straight preseason games against their division rivals. The Ducks also beat the Sharks 5-2 in Anaheim on Wednesday.
Anaheim opened the scoring on Friday with two quick power-play goals 1:14 apart in the first period.
Perry's first power-play goal came at 4:15 as he got behind the Sharks' defense and was able to tap the puck past goalie Antti Niemi.
