Driver Killed In Solo Crash In San Jose
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A 22-year-old man was killed in a crash in San Jose early Sunday morning, police said.
Officers responded to reports of a collision near South First Street and Interstate Highway 280 at about 2:45 a.m., according to San Jose police.
A blue BMW had apparently been traveling south on South First Street when the driver lost control and the car left the roadway, striking two light poles, police said.
The driver was declared dead at the scene.
Alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor.
