Driver Hospitalized After Road Rage Stabbing In Brentwood
BRENTWOOD (CBS SF) - A man was stabbed multiple times after a road rage incident in Brentwood on Thursday afternoon, police said.
Police responded to the 1200 block of Ironwood Drive around 3:10 p.m. on a report of a man suffering from several stab wounds. The man was flown in a medical helicopter to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers learned the man had been in a road rage fight with another man. Both men in their cars had stopped near Clearview Drive and Balfour Road and started fighting, which led to the stabbing.
The stabbing victim returned to his car and drove to Ironwood Drive where police and emergency crews were called, police said.
The suspect in the stabbing had not been found as of Thursday night. Anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to call Brentwood police at (925) 778-2441.
