Dodgers Hold Fundraiser For Beaten Giants Fan
LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers were holding a fundraiser to help a San Francisco Giants fan in a medically induced coma since an Opening Day beating at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers said donors on Monday can drive to Dodger Stadium between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. and donate cash and checks to the trust fund established by the family of 42-year-old Giants fan Bryan Stow.
Two men in Dodgers gear attacked Bryan in the parking lot after the game on March 31. He remained at Los Angeles County-USC Hospital with brain trauma Sunday. Police are still looking for the assailants.
The Giants recognized longtime fan Stow during a game with the St. Louis Cardinals Sunday, and on Monday the Dodgers arrive for a three-game series with stepped-up security.
