DMV Opening New Outlets To Accommodate Undocumented Immigrants In California
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- The DMV is opening new temporary outlets to accommodate an expected surge in demand from undocumented immigrants in California.
A state law that takes effect in January allows people here illegally to get driver's licenses if they show identification from their home countries.
A new DMV office will open in San Jose on December 1st. Three others are already open in Southern California.
