DJ Earworm Releases 2011 Mashup 'United State of Pop: World Go Boom'
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - In the past five years, local music producer, DJ Earworm has released "United State of Pop" a mashup mix of the year's top 25 music, all set in one song.
By definition, a "mashup" is a complete song comprised of elements of two or more pre-existing pieces of music. In the case of DJ Earworm's 2011 release, titled "World Go Boom," he utilizes 25 different songs. Featuring music by Adele, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Nicki Minaj.
DJ Earworm's mixes are amongst the most anticipated releases each year. His mixes garners massive requests for plays on radio stations like 99.7 Now and Alice @ 97.3.
