Daily Madden: NFC North Now Up For Grabs
(KCBS) - The Packers, Bears and Lions are tied at 5-3 in the NFC North with the Bears and Lions facing off Sunday.
"I think that's going to be a good one," John Madden told the KCBS Radio morning crew. "Who's going to win that division? Can the Packers still win it with Rodgers out? Can the Bears win it now that they get Cutler back? Or is maybe this Detroit's year? Part of me wants to jump on Detroit's bandwagon, and I think this game will have a lot to do with it."
The Packers meet the Eagles Sunday without injured star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
"The Eagles got something going last week (against Oakland) with (quarterback) Nick Foles," John said. "Now they're not playing the Raiders defense. But having said that, this Packers defense isn't very good... If Philadelphia can build on what they did last week, and going against the Packers (who don't have) a strong defense, I think they can have the same type of success." (8:05)
