(KCBS) - John Madden says it's messy. The 49ers reportedly have offered Stanford's Jim Harbaugh the head coaching job after a six hour meeting. Meanwhile, Miami Dolphins owner Steve Ross may be ready to up the ante to record levels to land Harbaugh, even though Miami has a sitting coach in Tony Sparano and Harbaugh has no experience as a head coach in the NFL. Is Denver ready to jump into the game? The focus on Harbaugh has moved the spotlight away from other head coach candidates, including Jon Gruden and Bill Cowher.
