Daily Madden: Fight To The Finish
(KCBS) - The fight that broke out in the Chicago Cubs spring training dugout started with a pitcher frustrated by poor defense. The Cubs manager plans a team meeting, but John Madden says that's the wrong approach. Madden's strategy to end fighting: announce that any fights between teammates won't be broken up and they will battle to the end.
With the NFL contract deadline approaching, John says the biggest first impact will be on the players. They'll immediately lose their health benefits if an agreement isn't reached. Madden says the issues involved in deciding how to split revenue are complicated, and an agreement won't come easily. (8:25)
