CW Celebrities Run The 'Course of The Force'
SAN FRANCISCO (KBCW) - Hollywood invades the Bay Area as celebrities gather for a good cause. The 2nd Annual Course of The Force, a relay race benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation kicks off Tuesday at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch in Marin County. The race begins in Nicasio, near San Rafael and travels along the California Coastline. Ending at the San Diego Convention Center where the San Diego Comic-Con.
Celebrities who ran the quarter-mile segments in the Olympic-style lightsaber relay-run include a very pregnant Jamie King ("Hart of Dixie"), her husband Kyle Newman (director of "Fanboys"), Chris Colfer ("Glee"), Adrianne Curry ("America's Next Top Model"), Alexis Denisof ("Buffy The Vampire Slayer") who was cheered on Alyson Hannigan ("How I Met Your Mother") and family.
On Wednesday, the 500-mile relay run resumes in San Francisco, with "Conival," a Star Wars themed festival at Justin Herman Plaza starting at 12Noon. The relay race will make it's way down the California Coast to San Diego, in time for the Comic-Con.
