Crews Fully Contain Yellow Fire Near Napa, Sonoma Border
KNIGHTS VALLEY (CBS SF) - The Yellow Fire that has been burning in Knights Valley in Sonoma County since early Wednesday morning was 100 percent contained as of noon Friday, Cal Fire reported.
The fire burned 125 acres near state Highway 128 and Yellow Jacket Ranch Road northwest of Calistoga. No structures were damaged or threatened, Cal Fire said.
Engine crews will be patrolling the area for the next several days, Cal Fire said.
There were 117 fire personnel at the scene Friday and all roads in the area are open, Cal Fire said.
