Creeped-Out SF Alamo Square Resident Searching For Owner Of Crash-Landed Mystery Drone

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - In a Craigslist posting titled "I found your stupid drone," a noticeably disturbed San Francisco resident is asking the owner of a drone to come forward if "you want it back and/or you don't want me to see what's on the SD card."

Amber Schadewald posted about the find on the magazine website "the Bold Italic." She says her boyfriend noticed the blinking aircraft sitting in the middle of Fulton street on Saturday night, and decided to bring it in for a closer look.

"It felt like the first scene of some sci-fi flick that ends with a room of corpses and an audience moaning, 'Oh my god. So predictable. Those idiots shouldn't have brought it inside,' Schadewald writes.

She says the craft is a $1200 Phantom-type quadcopter that features an onboard camera.

She says the discovery was made around 10 p.m. and she had no idea what the owner was doing in the skies above the Panhandle-Alamo Square area.

"Yeah. It's creeping me out," wrote Schadewald.

At the time of writing she said she had not heard back on her Craigslist post, where the author threatens to "turn around and sell it on ebay to another one of you chumps."
