Creek Fire Near Yountville Fully Contained
YOUNTVILLE (CBS SF) -- A wildfire that burned 65 acres since Monday evening has been 100 percent contained, Cal Fire officials said Wednesday night.
The blaze, near Dry Creek Road about three miles west of Yountville, prompted mandatory evacuations on Monday and through the night for residents in the hills southwest of Oakville.
The evacuations have been lifted and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
All road closures in the area have been lifted, but motorists are still being urged to use caution in the area to help firefighters stay safe as they investigate the fire.
