Temperatures in the Bay Area will soar into triple digits for a large portion of the Bay Area this week and counties have provided information on cooling centers along with other ways to beat the heat.

Much of Northern California will be under an excessive heat warning Tuesday through Friday, the National Weather Service said, with temperatures between 90 and 110 degrees possible in inland cities including Antioch, Napa and Santa Rosa, according to the weather service. San Francisco was later added to the advisory.
