Concord Woman, Child Found Dead In Separate Cases
CONCORD (CBS SF) -- Concord police say they are investigating two deaths today, one involving a small child.
The child was reported dead at a home on the 1800 block of Elkwood Drive around 10:15 a.m. today, according to Lt. Tim Runyon.
Around noon, a second death was reported at a motel on the 1500 block of Concord Avenue. A 46-year-old woman was found dead in one of the motel's rooms.
The cause of death remains under investigation in both cases. However, Runyon said that there is no reason to think the two deaths are linked.
