Injury Collision Near Toll Plaza Slows Westbound Bay Bridge Traffic
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- All westbound lanes were reopened on the Bay Bridge after a traffic collision Saturday morning near the toll plaza caused California Highway Patrol officials to close lanes as they investigated.
At 10:13 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers responded to a report of a collision after at least two vehicles collided near the toll plaza, CHP officials said.
The CHP issued a Sig-alert and closed three westbound lanes for over an hour, according to CHP officials.
At least one person was taken to a hospital, according to a CHP dispatcher.
