Cold Weather Cuts Into Vallejo Tent Sales
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - Throughout the year, sales tents have been popping up around Vallejo with people selling everything from Giants t-shirts to fruits and vegetables. But lately, many people have pulled up stakes because it's just too cold outside.
KCBS' Dave Padilla Reports:
66-Year-old Jerry Hampton's stand is at I-80 near Magazine Street. He says that business has been slow.
"I haven't had a good day here,""said Hampton.
Off Sonoma Boulevard Laurie Eshner of Michigan was selling the same items as Hampton, most of it Giants-related.
"I was busy at the beginning but it has slowed down," said Eshner. "It's been pretty good though, and I'll be here until Christmas."
Both Hampton and Eshner say they have business licenses.
