Christmas Storm Pounds Rain Soaked Bay Area
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Rainy condition on Christmas Day were expected to continue as a front coming into the San Francisco Bay Area will bring moderate to heavy showers this evening, according to a forecaster for the National Weather Service.
"It should all be over by midnight Tuesday," forecaster Diana Henderson said of the front set to blanket the Bay Area.
Christmas Storm Soaks Bay Area
Showers were predicted to continue on Wednesday, improving to partly cloudy on Thursday and mostly clear Thursday night with rain returning on Friday, Henderson said.
There will still be a chance of showers on Saturday and partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions on Sunday and Monday, Henderson said.
Temperatures in San Francisco will fall to about 48 degrees tonight and rise to about 53 on Wednesday.
Parts of the North Bay will see temperatures range from the low to mid 30s to the 50s on Wednesday and the South Bay will see lows in the 40s rising to the 50s, Henderson said.
