Christmas Lights May Be Slowing Down WiFi Signals
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- If the WiFi reception in your home is a little slow this holiday season, you might be able to blame it on the festive light displays.
British researchers say Christmas lights can disrupt the flow of WiFi signals, which travel in straight lines.
Things like lamps, baby monitors, and Christmas lights can disrupt the signals, slowing down reception.
The researchers recommended keeping routers as far away as possible from the lights.
