CHP Warns Of 'Floosing' Along 101 During Storm
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A California Highway Patrol typo resulted in a "Floosing" warning along the wet 101 freeway late Wednesday morning.
Around lunchtime, rain had caused significant flooding on the roadway, forcing the closure of three northbound 101 lanes near the San Francisco 280 split.
An electronic roadside bulletin board briefly displayed the error and a KPIX 5 employee snapped the ached photo.
Traffic issues persisted throughout the morning as a second day of rain hit much of the region.
