CHP Officers Drive Injured Owl To Santa Rosa Wildlife Hospital
SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- An owl rescued by California Highway Patrol officers in Santa Rosa is recovering Monday morning.
The owl was hit by a car on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa on Friday.
CHP officers used a blanket to corner the owl and scoop it up, and one of the officers drove to a local wildlife hospital with the owl in his lap.
The owl has an injured wing and eye, but should recover in a few days.
