CHP Officer Rescues Baby Geese From Side Of Santa Rosa Highway
SANTA ROSA (KCBS) -- A gaggle of baby geese were rescued from the side of Highway 101 in Santa Rosa by a California Highway Patrol officer.
Drivers reported the stranded geese that were getting ready to walk into traffic to get to their mom on the other side of the highway.
A CHP officer ended up loading the goslings into a bag, and returned them safely to their mother, who was waiting patiently for them near the new Sutter Hospital.
