3 Sought In Campbell Home Burglary Caught On Camera
CAMPBELL (CBS SF) – Police are looking for three suspects captured on surveillance video ransacking a bedroom during a home burglary in Campbell late last month.
The theft happened on Nov. 26 around 2 p.m., when the resident received an alert on her cellphone of detected movement in a bedroom about an hour after she left her home, police said.
Security footage released Wednesday showed the burglars enter her master bedroom where they rummaged through a dresser and lifted up the mattress, police said.
The video can be viewed online at https://youtu.be/1hnmn8lKx98.
The woman was able watch the suspects remotely through the security camera and called police to report a burglary in progress, according to police.
Officers responded to the residence, but were unable to find the suspects, who likely made their way through an unlocked side door, police said.
The trio had left through the garage with jewelry, computers and other property from the home, according to police.
The suspects were described as Hispanic boys who appeared to be in their late teens, according to police.
Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information on the burglary is asked to call police dispatch at (408) 866-2101. Those who wish to remain anonymous may contact the police investigations unit at (408) 871-5190 or use the department's free mobile app.
