Caltrain Hits Pedestrian In Redwood City
REDWOOD CITY (CBS 5 / BCN) -- A man was struck by a train and injured on the Caltrain tracks in Redwood City Tuesday morning, officials said.
The man was hit by southbound train No. 236 at Whipple Avenue at about 10:20 a.m., Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.
He was alive afterward and was taken to a hospital, Dunn said.
Service was disrupted in both directions.
