Californians Look To Make Impact In Nevada GOP Caucus
LAS VEGAS (CBS SF) - Since the Republican presidential contest may very well be decided by the time California holds its June primary, it appears plenty of Californians are joining the campaign in Nevada, which holds its caucus Saturday.
If the campaign won't come to you, you've got to go to the campaign, right?
That's the way some young political junkies see it, in some instances taking a break from their college studies in California to work phone banks in Nevada on behalf of their preferred GOP candidates.
KCBS' Doug Sovern Reports:
The candidates themselves, meanwhile, planned to work the crowds at pizza parlors, country line dancing bars and gun shops.
KCBS' Doug Sovern is in Las Vegas this weekend, covering the GOP caucus. Hear his reports on 740AM & 106.9FM.
