Cal Women Take 58-49 Victory Over Oregon State
BERKELEY (AP) ― Layshia Clarendon snagged a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead California to a comeback 58-49 win over Oregon State on Saturday night.
Rachelle Federico added a career-high 15 points for the Bears (15-13, 7-10 Pac-10) and Mikayla Lyles scored a career-high 13.
The Bears trailed by 11 in the first half, but went on a 17-0 second-half run to break open a close game.
Sage Indendi led the Beavers (9-18, 2-14) with 15 points and Earlysia Marchbanks had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Cal snapped a six-game losing streak with the win while Oregon State has now lost 12 of its last 14.
