Cal Women Cruise Past Oregon, 81-65

EUGENE, Ore. (CBS/AP) -- Layshia Clarendon scored 18 points and all five starters for California reached double figures Saturday in an 81-65 victory over Oregon.

Talia Caldwell and Lindsay Sherbert had double-doubles for the Golden Bears (13-7, 5-4 Pac-10). Caldwell recorded 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Sherbert scored 17 to go with 10 rebounds.

DeNasha Stallworth added 15 points and Eliza Pierre had 13 points for California, which got no points from its bench.

The Golden Bears trailed 38-36 at halftime but took a 42-40 lead with 18:14 left on a layup by Clarendon and never trailed again.

Amanda Johnson scored 26, and Nia Jackson had 14 points and nine assists for the Ducks (12-8, 3-6).

Leading 63-57 with 7:09 to play, the Golden Bears outscored the Ducks 13-2 to take a 76-59 lead with 3:33 remaining and put the game away.
