CA Unemployment Rises Slightly Despite Improvement in Bay Area

The state unemployment rate rose one-tenth of a percent to 12.4 percent in August, even as the jobless rate in the Bay Area inched down. KCBS reporter Mike Colgan says the employment picture is worst in Silicon Valley despite improvements in Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo.
