Burglary Suspects Arrested After Leading Police On High-Speed Chase In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Burglary suspects led police on a high-speed chase through four San Francisco neighborhoods early Wednesday morning.
A burglary was reported two miles away from where the chase ended at 4th and Clara streets. The pursuit started at about 1:30 a.m. after the suspect's car hit an undercover police officer's car.
Several police units chased the suspects at speeds over 60 mph around Hayes Valley, Russian Hill, Tenderloin and Mission neighborhoods before ending up in the South of Market.
The driver and two passengers were arrested at the scene and have been booked into the county jail with pending charges.
No injuries were reported.
