Bryan Stow Beating Suspects Ordered To Stand Trial
LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) -- Two men have been ordered to stand trial in the brutal beating of a San Francisco Giants fan in the Dodger Stadium parking lot last year.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled Friday after a preliminary hearing of testimony and evidence against 30-year-old Louie Sanchez and 31-year-old Marvin Norwood.
The pair are accused of mayhem and assault and battery in the attack on Bryan Stow, a paramedic from Santa Cruz who attended last season's opening day game at Dodger Stadium. Stow suffered brain damage and is permanently disabled.
KCBS' Melissa Culross Reports:
The violence drew scrutiny of stadium security and fan behavior.
